From Bobby to Darby

Born Jan Paul Beahm in Los Angeles, Crash adopted the stage name Darby Crash in the early 1970s. He and fellow band member Pat Smear formed the Germs in 1976, quickly gaining notoriety for their raw and confrontational live performances.

The Germs released a single and an album during their brief existence.
